Premium Plug and Play: Axis AVHS, Amcrest, Speco, Hikvision, Hanwha Techwin/Samsung (Business Plans only)

Premium Plug and Play cameras allow you to add cameras to the service without the need to port forward. This will give you the easiest setup by far. These cameras have the all the same features and capabilities as Premium cameras within our interface. You'll need to check your camera documentation in order to find your OAK for your Axis AVHS (O3C) camera or your S/N for Amcrest.

 Note: Axis Companion line of cameras is NOT supported.

Premium Camera Plug and Play Camera features include:

  • Motion Detection configuration:  Within the viewing area for the camera, setting a specific area that will trigger a motion captured video or image event.
  • Pan & Tilt (model dependant): Setting the viewing angle of the camera remotely.
  • Image Appearance (model dependant): Includes the ability to adjust your cameras image based on your needs and the camera placement. Settings include "Flip", "Mirror", "Flip-Mirror" and the default "Normal".
  • Live View: "Live" view will be configured automatically via the plug and "Auto-Setup" wizard.
  • Timeline with Cloud Storage: You'll be able to use the Timeline to navigate through specific motion captured events stored in the cloud, by date and time. The storage amount will align with your monthly storage alotment of 7, 14, 30, 60, 90 days. Free accounts have a 4 hour storage limit.

 

Premium: Axis, Foscam, Hikvision, Sony, Vivotek, Hanwha Techwin/Samsung (Business Plans only)

Premium brand cameras are fully integrated, however, some of the features will depend on the individual cameras capabilities. If for example, a camera does not have built-in Pan & Tilt abilities, then you will not see this ability in your platform. Premium cameras are premium for a reason; which is the combination of support, documentation and reliability.


Premium Camera features include:

 *Note: Some camera limitations are manufacturer or model specific. For example, Hikvision cameras are unable to upload video motion events (although business plans offer 24x7 video recording). They are limited to image capture only.


Standard: D-Link, Trendnet and Generic MJPEG/H.264

Standard or Non Premium cameras can be added as well. You'll be able playback motion captured events, and go "Live" with your camera, provided that you've completed the setup wizard and have it configured correctly. Non Premium cameras will need to support our minimum requirements in order to work.


Non Premium Camera Features include:
